Privacy Policy
CQ AgAir is a registered business name of Lee Challacombe Helicopters Pty Ltd (ABN 46 140 558 014) ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We are committed to managing your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What information we collect
We only collect information we need to respond to enquiries and carry out our work. This may include your name, phone number, email address, property or job location, the type of job you're enquiring about, and any details you provide in your message. If we quote or complete work for you, we may also hold job-related records such as property access details, application records, and invoicing information.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you — when you complete our contact form, call or text us, email us, or message us on social media. Our website may also automatically collect basic technical information (such as your general location, browser type, and pages visited) through standard website analytics.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiries, provide quotes, plan and carry out jobs, keep accurate records, and stay in contact with you about your work. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We only disclose your information where it's necessary to run our business or where required by law. This may include our website and hosting provider (Wix), and government or regulatory bodies where we're legally required to do so — for example, chemical application records that must be kept under Queensland biosecurity and aerial application requirements. We do not disclose your information to third parties for their own marketing.
How we store and protect it
Your information is stored securely through our website platform (Wix) and our own business systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Cookies and website analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar tools to help it function and to understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it's wrong or out of date. Contact us using the details below and we'll help.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
